Last week, the LGBTQIA+ association made a statement of visibility and pride by raising flags up in the alumni quad. These flags represent unity, awareness, and celebration with these communities. They hope these flags spark conversations and connection for equality on campus.

Last week, Hooked, Bradley’s Crochet Club, gathered for a Halloween-themed movie night. Members also crocheted while watching Coraline. Hooked is a new and small club on campus, open to everyone.
Sorority Alpha Chi Omega raised money by having a grilled cheese night at their chapter house. People gathered to enjoy unlimited grilled cheese and tomato soup, all for a good cause. All proceeds went to the Center for Prevention of Domestic Violence.
Last Saturday, Bradley Faculty Mark De Zwaan and Ji Hyun Kim hosted a music recital in the Dingledine Music Center. They usually have these recitals once a semester and are a pleasure to listen to. They even played the same piano at the same time.
The AMA (American Marketing Association) hosted a guest speaker event with Bradley Alum Allison Krone. Allison talked about her journey in the marketing world from her times at Bradley to where she is today. She currently works at Simantel and previously worked for Maui Jim.
As summer has come to an end, Pi Kappa Phi held a BBQ cookout to celebrate. People could come for free and enjoy a variety of food, including burgers, hot dogs, fresh fruit, and more. People came to meet the organization and learn more about it.
