The Peoria Community Chorus held its latest concert this past Sunday at Bradley University’s Dingeldine Music Center. Under the direction of Dr. Lori Rhee and accompanied by pianists Carol Wessler and Michael Broer, the ensemble performed 11 pieces spanning gospel and folk genres. Each selection was introduced with background context, culminating in a trio of solo performances featuring the song “Tundra.” Those interested in joining the Peoria Community Chorus can audition at the start of each semester.
