On Monday, the Smith Career Center hosted an event called “Recruitment – The Inside Story”. Students came to Baker Hall to hear a panel speak about how to stand out in the job searching process.
The panel consisted of employees from five different companies in a variety of industries. They gave tips for job interviews and explained the most important parts of an elevator speech. Each panel member described the qualities that employers look for in prospective employees. The students were eager to learn how to make a positive first impression in the search for jobs.
