It has been done before, but somehow the Simpsons managed to predict the future yet again. This is not the first time its happened, actually Simpsons have made about 11 references to future events that actually happened! In season 11 episode 17, titled “Bart to the future”, the Simpsons predicted that Donald Trump would be president. Although no actual scene was created about president trump, there was a reference about president trump leaving the next president, Lisa Simpson, in a budget crunch.
While California and Hollywood were strong supporters of Hillary, many celebrities took to social media to react to the outcome of the election. Of the celebrities that supported trump, they took to social media to express their congratulations to the president elect, but other stars were not so happy. Stars including Katy Perry, Chris Evans, and Cher all expressed their sadness and anger on twitter while promoting the message of staying strong together. Many rappers also took to twitter to express their concern with the election. A common theme among the tweets from the rapper included remaining resilient, loving one another, and protecting your own.
