It was a defensive game for the Bradley Women’s Basketball team against the ISU Redbirds on Sunday, February 21.
The Lady Braves hosted the Redbirds in their final home game of the season. Bradley took the lead early as ISU went 3-for-9 in the first quarter. The Redbirds struggled offensively and could not answer the Braves after Bradley sophomore Danielle Brewer started a 9-0 run with a 3-pointer stretching into the 2nd quarter. The Lady Braves played their best defense of the season, not to mention a little bit of offense.
Bradley sophomore Anneke Schlueter scored a career high of 22 points. Braves drown the Redbirds 52-38.
