Student Organizations Hold Discussion About Diversity

Bradley’s Student Senate and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion welcomed students and faculty to a discussion about “Our Diversity and Inclusion: A Community Dialogueā€¯.

On March 29, the discussion included doughnuts and student panelists of diverse backgrounds. It was a very informal discussion between students about their feelings towards diversity on campus.

To start the discussion, there was a presentation that included questions to get the conversation going. Students were able to express their thoughts and concerns about different issues that needed to be solved. Briana Mathews attended the discussion and expressed her thoughts throughout the conversation. She explains more about how the conversation impacted her. (See video.)

The community dialogue was a successful discussion. Many students left the room with different perception of diversity and inclusion. Hopefully the conversation continues.
