Sophomore Taylor Willhalm of the Bradley University Softball team had a standout performance in the game against Indiana State on Sunday, March 20. Willhalm drove in 4 runs and scored twice, leading the Braves to a 12-4 landslide victory. The Sycamores grabbed an early lead in the bottom of the 1st, but the Braves would tie it up and then some. A 4-run 4th inning put Bradley ahead 6-2. Indiana pushed to rally with a run and a steal but could not hold back the Braves, as they went on to score 6 unanswered runs. The Braves won 2 of 3 games against the Sycamores, taking the series. The Lady Braves then headed to Springfield, Missouri for a 3-game series at Missouri State on Friday and Saturday, March 25 and 26.
