On Sunday, Illinois Governor Jamie Pritzker spoke at a press conference in Chicago discussing the state’s current testing numbers for COVID-19. While on average, 4,000 tests per day are being conducted throughout Illinois, the governor hopes to reach a daily goal of 10,000 tests within the coming weeks. The news comes as McLean county opened their own drive-thru testing facility this past Saturday.
