The Alpha Phi Omega fraternity on campus hosted a fundraiser this week and did it by selling a rare delicacy.
It’s no secret Peoria has missed having a Krispy Kreme Doughnuts since its closure in 2009. So when Alpha Phi Omega set up in the Student Center on March 22 from 10 am to 2 pm, students lined right up. Doughnuts were sold for $1 each, and $10 for a dozen. As you can imagine, students were more than pleased to support the fraternity. The three Cardinal Principles of Alpha Phi Omega are Leadership, Friendship, and Service. These principles are reflected in their activities, and fundraisers such as this one help to adhere to them. (See video for more.)
