Black Student Alliance Holds Black Excellence Ball

In honor of Black History Month, Bradley’s Black Student Alliance hosted their first Black Excellence Ball in the Student Center Ballroom. The ball was a free event open to all Bradley students.

The Black Excellence Ball was a semi-formal social event. The purpose of the ball was for students to come out and celebrate black excellence. Students enjoyed appetizers, socializing, and good music to dance to. A couple students got the opportunity to go on stage and talk about what black excellence meant to them. There were students crowned at the event. Martin Bonsu and Tyesha Smith were named Mr. & Ms. Black Excellence, and Lander Braggs and Lorielle Anderson were named Mr. & Ms. Freshman. At the end of the ball, the new Executive Board members were presented to the audience.
