For a more classic take on Valentine’s Day, the Peoria Symphony Orchestra presented the performance of “Romance” on February 13 at 8:00 pm at the Civic Center. The performance showcased timeless romantic favorites and featured operatic soprano singer Marisa Buchheit, also known as Miss Illinois 2014. Marisa sings in nine languages and has performed all over the world.
The Conklin’s cast performed “Let’s Fall in Love” on February 11, 12, and 13 at Five Points Washington. This performance combined famous love songs and funny sketches about romance. The show featured Conklin Players Company, which is a cast full of talented people.
