Red Cross Has Blood Drive at Bradley

The American Red Cross Club held a blood drive last Monday.

It was held at the performance court of the Markin Center.

There were people coming in and out, both with reservations as well as walk-ins, being accepted for blood donations.

The drive ran from noon to 5 pm.

The Red Cross was founded during World War II to supply blood to soldiers in the field, reaching a total of 13.3 million pints of blood plasma over the course of the war.

After the war, it became what it is today, run by civilians.

If you would like to donate to the American Red Cross, you can go to their website at redcrossblood.org to set up an appointment.
