Paint Pumpkins and Eat Donuts for a Good Cause

TannersOne of the most popular fall activities in central Illinois is a trip to Tanners Orchard.

The family-owned orchard is home to a corn maze, pumpkin patch, an apple orchard, and the locally famous apple cider donuts.

If you can’t take the 25-minute trip out to Speer, Illinois, Bradley’s Epsilon Sigma Alpha Service Sorority is giving you the chance to get in on the fall fun here on campus.

This Friday in the Markin Center’s basement from 1 to 4 pm, you can go and paint pumpkins for $2 and eat apple cider donuts for $1 each.

The best part is that it’s for a good cause.

The proceeds go to the Gifts in the Moment Foundation, a charity that focuses on providing fresh produce to those in need instead of processed food.

The locally run charity strives to provide everyone in need with nature’s gifts.
