Heart throb Justin Bieber is back and better than ever with his new single “What Do You Mean?” If you have been on social media at all these last 30 days, you would have known this highly anticipated song was coming. Bieber enlisted tons of celebrities to promote his upcoming single by posting a picture of them with a countdown everyday. Now that the song is out, we finally understand the hype. The song which is reportedly produced by Skrillex features catchy lyrics with a tropical house EDM vibe. This song and a ton of others will be featured on his next album, which is set to come out in November.
Zac Efron is starring in a new movie, “We Are Your Friends”, all about music! Unfortunately, this time he will not be singing and dancing. He will be an aspiring EDM DJ in California trying to balance life, friends, and his dreams. It is now in theaters.
Lastly, we couldn’t leave without talking about the MTV Music Video Awards. This weekend marked the 31st VMA show. This year’s host was the one and only Miley Cyrus. The show kicked off with a performance from Nicki Minaj. Halfway through the performance, Taylor Swift joined her on stage and assured us there was no more beef between them. Later on, Justin Bieber performed his 2 newest hits and broke down in tears afterwards. Nicki accepted an award for best hip hop video. The biggest award of the night was given to Kanye West, the Vanguard Award. Ironically, it was given to him by Taylor Swift. The rest of the show was filled with fantastic performances and awards to tons of stars in fabulous outfits.
