Citizens of Peoria are beginning to worry as the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Peoria area rises to 31. The tri-county area total count is now 51 and there has been 1 COVID-19 related death in the area. Although many tests are coming back negative, there is no slowing down of the overall case count. The statewide “stay at home” order is still in effect and officials say that will help prevent the spread of the virus throughout the area.
