The Women’s Basketball team finished up their exhibition season last Saturday as they defeated Missouri-St. Louis 78-65.

Tamya Sims and Leti Lerma paced the Braves with 11 points each.

This game was won in the paint, as Bradley outscored the visitors 32 to 14 in the paint.

Bradley had a 20-point lead at the intermission, and shot 50% from the field for the game.

UMSL was able to stay in the game by making 24 free throws, but could never mount a serious rally.

The Lady Braves will open up the regular season on Friday as they will be on the road against Detroit.
