Across central Illinois, people found places outside their homes to watch the first democratic debate of this election season.
In particular, the Lariat Steakhouse held cozy for many. This was a place for those interested to come watch the debate, eat and drink, and hold conversation with others about the issues.
Many visitors came with Hillary Clinton on the top of their list, but kept her competitors in mind. Some of the main issues that concerned this specific crowd were opportunities for the middle class, affordable college tuition, and health care.
