On April 3rd, several departments across Bradley University’s campus extended their generosity and donated vital supplies to those on the ‘front lines’ of the COVID-19 battle. The receiving end—Peoria hospital OSF St. Francis—was given thousands of personal protective equipment (PPEs). This donation from the university ranged from about twenty-five hundred masks, hundreds of boxes of rubber/latex gloves, and a numerous amount of medical gowns. Departments credited with the donation include Bradley’s Psychology department, Engineering department, Bio/Chem department, along with Dining Services and the Student Affairs Office. If you’d also like to do your part and help out in this time of need, consider donating to nonprofit organizations, like the American Red Cross, the CDC, or even your local food pantry.
