The wild race of 2016 is finally over. After a long day of voting and counting on November 8th, Donald-J-Trump has been elected to be the 45th president of the United States. While here in Peoria and cook county and Illinois were won by Clinton, Mr. Trump won other major key states like Florida, North Carolina, and Michigan. The election was officially over late last night as Mr. trump won the 270 electoral votes needed.
