BUPD Participate In No Shave November

The officers of the Bradley police department may look a little scruffier this month! During the month of November, officers and fraternity members will be donating money and voluntarily agreeing to not shave as a part of “no shave November.” While the police department normally has a grooming policy to keep facial hair groomed and trimmed, chief Brian Joschko has suspended the policy for the month. This is the first time that BUPD officers, members of the interfraternity council, and national Pan-Hellenic council will team up for charity with all proceeds going to the special Olympics of Illinois. Donations can be made at the November coffee with a cop at the end of the month or at the police station in campus town. Members of the campus community also will have a chance to vote on the best looking beard and favorite officer.
