Bradley’s chapter of to Write Love on Her Arms is presenting writer, comedian, and social activist Kevin Breel. Breel’s work has been featured in many outlets including Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. Breel began his career as a teenager beginning on a comedy tour, but expanded into writing and activism reflecting depression. He is a mental health activist and has helped raise millions for suicide prevention. Breel has written an acclaimed memoir and even has one of the most viewed Ted Talks in history. Both of these works highlight depression Breel has faced.
Breel has also been a guest speaker at many Ivy League schools and was named one of the top six “most influential millennials in the world” by Parade Magazine. He is on an international book tour and will be featured tomorrow night, September twenty-ninth at 7 p-m in the Michel Student Center Ballroom.
