Next Monday, October 3rd, former democratic U.S Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle will be on campus. Daschle will be speaking about a book he co-authored with former republican U.S Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott. The book is titled “Crisis Point” and discusses how to fix America’s broken political system and highlights principles that can restore America’s democracy. Daschle will be introduced by former U.S Secretary of Transportation and Congressman Ray Lahood. “Crisis Point” will also be available for purchase and Daschle will hold a book signing after his remarks. The event, held in the Peplow Pavilion in the Hayden-Clark alumni center, is free and open to the public.
