Bradley University got a spooky name-drop last week! Last week on the popular FX show, “American Horror Story: Roanoke”, one of the characters revealed to the audience that he was a professor from Bradley University. The fictional character is Dr. Elias Cunningham who is conducting research on a pair of murdering sisters for a true crime novel. While on the property, he records himself describing his initial intent, but finds something much more malicious on the property. Although the show is based on a true story, it does not appear that Dr. Cunningham is based on a legitimate professor here at Bradley. You can catch the sixth season of “American Horror Story” Wednesday nights on FX or on demand.

This past weekend a newly married couple were taking their wedding pictures in New York’s central park when they got a unique surprise. Oscar winner and star of the new movie “Sully”, Tom Hanks, photo bombed their pictures while we was jogging through the park!

The pictures are hilarious from seeing the brides surprised face, to hanks kissing her hand to hanks himself taking a selfie with the couple and posting it on his twitter with the caption “Elizabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.” it was certainly a day they would remember for many reasons.

Katy Perry made a bold statement on Tuesday when she released a public service announcement with “funny or die.” the p-s-a coincides with national voter registration day. Perry’s message was guided to getting people to the polls on November 8th. Perry wanted to create a funny video to attract younger audiences to voting. The video features Katy telling the audience you can roll out of bed and go vote! However, for Perry, she sleeps naked so she strips off her clothes at the poll. She is taken away by the police where she joins a similarly nude Joel McHale as well. Perry is an avid Clinton supporter and the purpose of the entire video is to persuade people to get out of bed go vote!
