While most students stay up late for homework, video games, or movies, some students decided to stay up late to change a child’s life.
The third annual Up ‘Til Dawn fundraiser event for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital took place at the Markin Center midnight on Friday, February 5, and went on until breakfast at 6:00 on Saturday morning. Over 200 students participated in this year’s event. Teams of six participated in activities and contests throughout the night after fundraising beforehand. Together they raised over $30,000 for St. Jude. That money goes towards research and financial help for families that have children with cancer.
