Despite having a rough week, the Bradley Men’s Basketball team is still finding some high points to celebrate.
The team took on the University of Northern Iowa Panthers last Wednesday night at the Carver Arena. Freshman Ronnie Suggs led the Braves with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Another freshman, Antoine Pittman, followed closely behind with 14 points. Despite a record high-scoring half for the season, the Braves just couldn’t answer the Northern Iowa Panthers as they would go on to win the game with 8 out of 11 3-pointers scored by Panther Paul Jesperson. Final score was 68-50.
The Men’s Basketball team would also visit Missouri State only to fall short at JQH Arena just last night. The Bears topped the Braves 77-71. They return home with a loss, but not empty-handed, as they celebrate their highest-scoring game this season. The team will host Indiana State next Saturday at 7 pm to start off their two-game home stand.
