Last Thursday night, the Bradley student chapter of APICS hosted a mini supply chain game night in Baker Hall. Students were welcome to stop by to learn more about how supply chains work.
APICS is a student organization that promotes collaboration between the business and engineering departments for the field of operations management. A supply chain refers to the sequence of processes involved in the production and distribution of a product. Students playing the game used Skittles to represent products moving from a factory, through a wholesaler, to retail. Each team tried their best to create the most efficient method of operations management. For more information about APICS, email the organization at buapics@gmail.com.
