The Bradley Soccer team had a chance to win the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title last Saturday at Drake.
The Braves needed a win or tie and had to have SIU-Edwardsville lose to Loyola.
Bradley would hold up their end of the bargain as they played Drake to a 1-1 deadlock.
The Braves appeared to be on the way to a loss, but a goal by Andrew Brown in the 89th minute would tie the game at 1 and send it to extra time.
Neither team would strike in extra time, which led to Bradley’s first tie of the season.
However, the Braves would not get any help from Loyola, as SIU-E defeated the Ramblers in extra time.
Nonetheless, the Braves secured a 2 seed in the conference tournament and will face Drake on Friday.
