Students and Faculty Get Flu Shots

Winter is just around the corner, and with that comes cold and flu season.

Bradley University Health Services provided free flu shots to students last week in the basement of Markin Center.

Faculty and staff could also receive the shot for a $20 fee.

October is the prime time to receive the shot because the flu generally doesn’t flare up until later in the year, during the winter season.

Marci Messing explains further why getting the flu shot is important. (See video for more.)

Messing advises it’s best not to get the flu shot if you are already sick.

If you missed this opportunity, be sure to search for other flu shot providers to keep you healthy this winter.
