For the second week in a row, we had a Bradley student athlete get some individual accolades.
Freshman golfer Drake Bushong was named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week last week for earning a medal at the Zach Johnson Invitational.
Bushong was the first Bradley freshman to medal in a tournament since 2011.
Bushong was not the only Brave to experience success, however. Senior Lyle Burns recorded his first top 10 finish of the year.
The Golf team plays both a fall and a spring season, and the fall season will conclude on October 20 at the Austin Peay Invitational.
