With the MLB Playoffs in full swing and the Cubs taking the sports world by storm, it is easy to forget that the Bradley Baseball team will begin their season in February.

The team has been hard at work already, playing 2 of their 3 intra-squad scrimmages this week.

The third scrimmage will be played on Friday at 7:00 pm at Dozer Park in downtown Peoria. Also, an alumni game will be played on the Dozer Park turf on Saturday at 1:00.

The Bradley Baseball team had a season to remember last year. The team won 36 games and reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1968!

The Braves are coached by Elvis Dominguez, who added 11 freshmen to this year’s team, including his son Christian.

Elvis may not be able to bust out a mean rendition of “Jailhouse Rock,” but he will look to lead the Braves to another NCAA Tournament appearance in 2016.
