The Braves took on Loyola University at Shea Stadium in front of a crowd of 1,517 fans just this past Friday. To end the Homecoming week at Bradley University, the Homecoming King and Queen were crowned at the Homecoming Soccer game.
This was the Missouri Valley Conference opener for both teams.
The game was knotted up at zero to zero all the way to the final minute of the game.
The game was being dominated by Loyola, who had outshot the Braves with 20 shots on goal vs. Bradley’s 8 shots on goal.
The game was won in the final minute on a penalty kick goal from J.T. Kotowski.
That goal was his second game-winning goal of the season.
The Braves are 4-4 this season and 1-0 in their conference.
