For some of us, it’s difficult to find the motivation to go for a jog, but what if it’s for a good cause?
The annual Gary R. Tippett Memorial 5k Race took place Saturday morning.
About 50 participants ran and walked through the campus and surrounding neighborhood course.
The run was a fun, family-friendly event that is not only a great way to jumpstart the day, but organizer Tory Jennetten says it will also be a great help to one lucky student. (See video for more.)
Medals were awarded to the top male and female participants in each category, and runners were invited to come back next year.
