The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams were at Western Illinois last Friday to participate in the WIU Early Bird Run.
The women dominated, as they had eight of the top ten finishers!
Sophomore Elena Danielson led the BU women finishing in third.
The men would place in second in the field, as Taylor Floyd Mews led the Braves with a fourth place finish.
Both the men and women are predicted to be at the top of the MVC standings this year.
The men were voted to finish second in the preseason poll behind Indiana State.
The women were predicted to finish in first, receiving 8 of the 10 first place votes.
Both the men and women will be running at home on Friday, as they participate in the 29th Bradley Intercollegiate at Detweiler Park. The race begins at 5 o’clock.
