The elimination chamber consists from six to now a record seven wrestlers in the chamber, with four wrestlers in pods that are opened at 5 minute intervals. According to WWE.com’s website, the chamber stands at 16ft high and 36 ft in diameter, weighs 9,100 kilograms and of that is 5,400 kilograms of chain. A total of twenty two elimination chamber matches have happened in the history of WWE with its debut in the summer of 2002.

On February 25th, 2018, WWE had its Raw exclusive pay per view dedicated to the gruesome cage of a structure. The major highlights of the night were the first ever Women’s Elimination chamber that had the Wrestlers: Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Mickie James, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Alexa Bliss. The winner of this match was Alexa Bliss, Which Drake Grondzki, and Jack Symzk, said was, “An extremely predictable match; however, pretty good for the women’s first time in the chamber.

The next highlight was “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey finalizing her contract in the squared circle to become a full-time WWE superstar. The contract signing, however, went astray as Triple H would be put through the contract table, which would trigger Stephanie McMahon to slap Ronda. TJ Buchanan, an Electrical Engineering student at Bradley University, went on to say that, “Ronda signing with the WWE is a very smart move for both parties, as Ronda gets not only a second chance at combat sports, but also a re-spark of her world renowned name to take the Pro Wrestling industry by storm. It’s good for WWE because they will get new fans tuning in to see a familiar face and be able to grow in to the Pro Wrestling fan base.

The last but most certainly not least highlight of the night was the first ever seven-man elimination chamber match consisting of probably the top seven men on raw. These men include: The Miz, Elias, John Cena, Finn Bálor, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, and Roman Reigns. The eventual winner would be Roman Reigns even though Braun strawman eliminated every man excluding Roman.

Overall, The event had six matches, with only two of importance and neither were fully that great. The problem with the pay per view was its predictability involved, as most hardcore fans were able to predict the entire card match by match. The biggest problem fans are having at this point is that Roman Reigns is once again going to be main eventing Wrestlemania for the 4th year in a row if my memory holds true. Hardcore fans like myself do not want him in the main event because majority of us “Smarks”(Hardcore fans) feel that he is being shoved down out throats and there is no way arounf the fact that I predict that Roman Reigns will win the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania. That event is two months away but I will put money on it. We the fans want something else, we want the unpredictability that 1998-2007 had, not what we have now.

Com 360 Mac Watt Multimedia #1 Audio Slideshow: Elimination Chamber Elimination Chamber is easily one of the most destructive matches in the WWE’s history.
