The week hopes to shine a spotlight on eating disorders and to improve one&#8217;s understanding of the causes, dangers, and treatments.<\/p>\n<p>More than 20 million people in the U.S. suffer from eating disorders. About one in five college women suffer, with many going undiagnosed and untreated. Only about 35% of sufferers get treatment for their illnesses.
