On Saturday, November 23, at 1:00 in the afternoon the Bradley Women’s Basketball team took on Miami of Ohio and came out victorious, 79-68, bringing their record to 4-1 on the season.
It was a wire-to-wire victory for the Braves, who started off on a run and never relented the lead.
How exactly did the Braves get this lead, and never give it up? I’ve picked out some clips that show how this lead was created and how it was kept.
Most plays ran by Bradley were off of that Princeton base, using different concepts to confuse the defense. On the other side of the floor, the defensive rotations weren’t always punctual, but there wasn’t very many blown assignments.
Doing all the little things right is how the Braves won this game. The coaches had a good offensive set and variations off, and hitting all the rotations let the better team prevail.
