Dave Lennie began learning television production at a very young age when his father started a TV production program at the local high school back in 1979. Once he reached high school he participated in the program, helping produce a weekly live newscast. After graduating with a B.A. from Bradley University in 1992 he got a job in the Engineering department at WEEK-TV 25, which led to a position in the Production department where he shot, edited and produced many local programs as well as thousands of local and regional commercials. After a 10-year career at WEEK, Mr. Lennie came back to Bradley University in 2002 as the Audio/Video Engineer and in 2007 was also promoted to the title of Director of Instructional Technology for the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts.
Lennie has won two Peoria Ad Club "Addy" awards for his work at WEEK as well as numerous honorable mentions. He continues to actively work in television by helping with the St. Jude Telethon as well as freelancing for many different sports outlets, both local and regional.
