American Advertising Federation (AAF)
This group serves students with a primary interest in Advertising. They do some work with the American Advertising Federation, plan to enter some regional competition and plan at least one Chicago field trip a year.

Bradley University Media Society (BUMS)
Attempts to develop good relations with electronic media professionals locally and nationally through conferences, speakers and production competitions.

Forensics Team
Bradley's Speech Team currently stands as the American Forensics Association and National Forensics Association national champions. The team has won 15 AFA titles and 12 NFA titles. Meetings are Monday evenings and any student is encouraged to "drop in" and see what the team is all about.

Midstate Magazine
Midstate Magazine is the student produced, professional quality television program. The half hour show is produced weekly and highlights the news, arts, and special events happening in the Peoria community. Midstate gives students the opportunity to gain real world television production experience in a professional setting.

Public Relations Student Society of America
With 6,000 student members and more than 200 chapters worldwide, PRSSA is the premiere national, pre-professional organization for those interested in a public relations career. Professional development, assistance in job and internship searches, and community involvement are augmented by guest speakers and field trips to provide practical public relations experience.

Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ)
The Society of Professional Journalists is the Department's oldest student group and assists students interested in print and broadcast journalism. Those interested in newspaper, magazine and radio/TV news should become involved with this group.
