The Video Conference Center allows Bradley students and faculty to interact "live" with persons in a similarly equipped facility anywhere in the world. Thirty-one seats are arranged in a circle with microphones, video cameras, and television monitors in the center of the room. The cameras are voice activated so the person speaking always appears on camera and is seen and heard both in the room and at the remote site. This Center provides Bradley students with opportunities for interactive distance learning, a "campus without boundaries" that can draw on the resources of other campuses, corporations, and media outlets worldwide.

This 100-seat, auditorium-style classroom adjoins the Video Conference Center and can be used both for lectures and to allow a larger audience to view an interactive conference in progress next door. It features a stage and a huge projection screen. A high-tech podium with a VCR, networked computer, and projection system gives the instructor great flexibility for using a variety of presentation materials.

It provides students and faculty with the equipment and technical support to master sophisticated desktop publishing, digital imaging, QuickTime video editing, multimedia, CD-ROM authoring, and music composition applications.
|
This lab features 22 workstations with Apple G4 computers linked to sources of video and audio input. Students can work with digital text, images, video, sound, and animation-even tie all those resources together to create their own interactive CDs.
